About the event
Prof. Ana Pereira will give a quick overview of the client-based "VR for Good" , highlighting how students apply their skills to meaningful, real-world challenges. Ana will also provide an introduction to the VR major, its curriculum, and the broader career pathways within the immersive technology industry. Students will join to showcase prototypes of their VR for Good projects, providing STS members a first-hand look at their creative and technical work. We will follow this exciting presentation with our annual business meeting, which will install the new Board of Directors. There will be light appetizers and soft drinks available.

Other adults: $25
Full Time Students: Free
Members can also purchase tickets directly from STS by payment through Zelle to 2672057229.
Membership dues can be paid now ($50 for single member, $75 for family) by contacting nicholasbarbi@gmail.com, which will allow new members to purchase event tickets at the member price. Dues paid now (or if you just signed up recently) are good through the end of 2026.
